Talking Parrot

My Hair!!!!!

Hola!!!!! Sorry for not posting in a while but I have so much to talk about! First, my hair was huge in Costa Rica. Everywhere I went they were always telling me how much they liked my hair!!! They would ask questions about and ask if they could touch it. At first I thought it was weird but then I noticed that I hadn't seen one person with dreadlocks the entire trip. So I answered most of their questions and said "Gracias" every time they said they like my hair. Adios can't wait to tell you more!!

Last day in Costa Rica!

Hi all,
Me painting on ox car

Ox car
It's been fun here in Costa Rica but everything must come to an end. I've had so much fun but I miss my family. Costa Rica is the most amazing place ever, I've talked to a parrot, ate amazing ice cream, seen a volcano, and met and made amazing new friends. We've traveled so much we've been to San José, La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Jaco. I got a really bad face sunburn and so does my new away from home family, but it was all worth it, because we went to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen! I also got to paint the biggest ox car in the world with Mr. Eloy Alfaro. Tomorrow is going to be a long day but I'll get through it (hopefully)
Talk to you later,
Olivia

Hearing everybody’s good wishes is so amazing and it’s really nice to hear how much everyone cares about my success as I’m about to go on this great adventure.

This Thanksgiving

I’m getting donations! I’m so thankful that people are contributing to help make my dream to travel to Costa Rica come true. My friends and family are definitely being so supportive! This is one of the things that I’m most thankful for on this Thanksgiving. I’m so grateful that I go to a wonderful school where I’m offered such amazing opportunities, and my family sacrifices so much for my success.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
